The Lightning had a unique need for absolute controlling of all video content. The CrossFire filled that need and more. The Lightning added two CrossFire systems, along with two of the brand new Blaze fascia board controllers.
George Panagopolous, from HiTech services, had this to say about their experience with Click Effects. "Click Effects CrossFire provides the ultimate front end for all of our event production needs. Configuration was a snap and the turnaround for custom changes to suit our unique situation was done with Lightning speed. The total experience with Click Effects by far exceeded our usual high expectations."
Since the team's inception in 1992, the Lightning have won a Stanley Cup in 2004. The team is looking to rebound and go deep into the playoffs next year. The Lightning are one of 18 National Hockey League teams that use Click Effects products to spearhead their in game entertainment.

The list of colleges and universities choosing Click Effects to spearhead their athletic event A/V entertainment continues to grow. The CrossFire systems are "trusted by the best" and more universities are joining the wave. Recently, the University of Southern Mississippi, Illinois State and the University of Arizona have all purchased Click Effects CrossFire systems.
Meanwhile, Texas Christian University has graduated to their second CrossFire system, based on the success of the CrossFire system that was initially purchased for their baseball stadium.
Elon College of North Carolina has also purchased a Click Effects CrossFire system. Trip Durham, Elon College's AD, has had experience with Click Effects through his previous positions in minor league baseball. "Click Effects is the main component of my "in game" presentation", said Trip. "The combination of power, speed and simplicity that CrossFire has, gives me the ability to produce an event as well as any University anywhere." The Elon Phoenix fans will have a lot to look forward to next year.
One of the best features of the CrossFire is that last minute changes to any program are easy because of its' flexible, intuitive interface. The CrossFire custom stats and data interface is innovative and unmatched. It is the perfect option for live production environments, because the integrated graphics editor is a great supplement for last minute changes needed during any events. This semester the CrossFire is getting straight A's.
